Grim Reaper
Imagine if someone had rubbed Final Destination (not a great film but with a few decent death scenes) in shit and taken out all the good stuff. Et voila! You have Grim Reaper! Stripper Rachel survives being hit by a car that should have killed her and death begins chasing her. After being drugged by a dodgy nurse in the ER, she wakes in an old mental hospital with five other inmates under the care of the sinister Dr Brown. Will Rachel escape? Will her medical student boyfriend Liam rescue her? Will Death reclaim his lost soul? Or will we just watch this film on fast forward so we can watch something better afterwards?
I usually try to sit through all these shit films in the interests of shitty horror fans everywhere but unfortunately this one was just too bad, too slow and too predictable to bother with. I had to go with the fourth choice from the list above and watch it in double speed. Despite this, the film was soooo predictable I still knew what was going on and it was still too long, slow and boring (note: it only lasts 82 minutes!). The acting is awful, the plot is pinched, it looks like it's been shot on a budget of the change stolen from a beggar.
Basically, it's freaking awful! The only reason I can think of for someone to watch it is if they're being forced to under pain of torture. Never mind waterboarding, try making someone watch this!
