Teeth

I think the other half was quite concerned when I told him what this film was all about. It's a bit of a leg-crosser for the guys anyways. Dawn, a spokesperson for a purity group (the kind that wear rings pledging to keep their knickers/undies on till after marriage and only even to touch down there in a toilet-type situation) suffers from a weird affliction called 'Vagina Dentata' - a 'toothed vagina'. And you can imagine why it's a leg crosser of a film. At the very mention of the idea I bet there are guys reading this whose legs are not just crossed but they've got a protective hand on their willy and their testicles have retracted to somewhere near their ears.

It is a bit of a chick-power flick I suppose. That's not a bad thing in this case tho. It's really quite watchable. The cast are all pretty game and the acting is quite believable - albeit a little cartoonish in places. But it fits the horror/comedy thing they've got going on. The sound adds to the cartoon like quality of the film too. Generally it's a good laugh and it's worth a watch - so long as any men in the room can cope with the whole severed dick thing.
