I have to admit at this point that nuns scare me. I don't know what it is about them (meaning: I have no idea what I watched as a child to encourage this), I'm not even Catholic. But nuns freak me out. Enter "The Convent". Demonic nuns with fluorescent blood? Nice!!
It's very funny and while the plot is minimal, it does the job: an irritating group of students break into a supposedly haunted convent and get possessed by some nasty nuns from the past. And then there's the local Satanists led by a guy claiming to be a 'dark Pwince' - the worst, and funniest, Satanists ever!
This is a great one to watch. And it has cameos by genre legends Bill Moseley (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, House of 1000 Corpses etc) and Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog, Creepshow, The Thing etc). A classic in the making...
