A pregnant Jane Brooks and her family visit a small island with a view to buying the allegedly haunted property. Already on the island are Gary and his current squeeze there to do research on witchcraft. When a storm strands them all on the island, the spirit of an angry witch starts tormenting them and won't stop till they're all dead.
When I saw this DVD on e-bay, I knew I had to buy it. The Hoff and Linda Blair of Exorcist fame together in a horror film? I'm there!! I got a little too enthusiastic in the bidding process tho and am now the proud owner of two copies of this film (anyone want one?). There's a very good reason I don't use Ebay that often any more . And it is indeed a shitty horror. Bad acting, crazy make-up, and a general requirement to continuously suspend disbelief. Plus the Hoff does hs very best to pose in a 'Come to me, women' kinda way throughout the film (though how he ever managed to get any women to come to him is beyond me - he may be unintentionally funny but the man is a freakazoid!!). It's quite amusing really - tho I suggest a few glasses of wine first!!
