Paul stakes Dracula but neither he or the Priest is able to pray over him so the Count can free himself. The Count then takes Maria to his Castle and orders her to remove the giant cross from the door. This she does and it impales itself in the dirt. After a fight with Paul, Dracula is impaled on the cross and the Priest manages to say the Lord's Prayer over him. Dracula crumbles into dust and Paul makes the sign of the cross over him.
