Dracula Has Risen from the Grave
An eastern European village still lives in fear of the Castle Dracula a whole year after he's been vanquished. To quell the villagers' fears a Monsignor exorcises the Castle - and also accidentally resurrects the count from his icy grave. Unable to re-enter his domain, the Count plots revenge on the Monsignor's family, notably his niece Maria who is protected by her atheist boyfriend Paul.
Regular readers (if there are any out there in the internet wilderness) will know what I'm going to say about this film: it's a Hammer Dracula film and I love them! It's cheesy, a bit Gothic and has the ever marvellous Christopher Lee in top form as Dracula. It's a good old romp in true Hammer fashion and it's a good watch.
