In the Woods (1999)
After the beastie whose skull the men find attacks the couple Alex is staying with and rips his wife’s arm off, Alex decides to take out the freaky dog and collects a bunch of equipment from the firehouse to go back into the woods. He tries to blow up the freaky dog (who’s taken to bringing Alex souvenirs of his kills – like heads and torsos!). The police discover Alex isn’t the serial killer (a ludicrous sub-plot) and another beastie attacks the police at Alex’s house, also giving Alex a vision of how the creatures were created.
Alex gets the other hunter and they try to lure the beasties to the original grave to bury it. Alex gets semi-naked and runs about and the two beasties have a bit of a scrap. The two legged beastie kills the freaky dog thing and Alex gets taken to hospital where he reunites with his wife.
And our suffering is over…
