Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008)
This film takes place between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. Curtis Miller is infected with the G-Virus and turns into a giant mutated… thing (apparently a nod to RE2 but I never got that far into the game). The Wilpharma building realises the virus has been released and decides to incinerate itself. This isn’t enough to kill Leon and Angela tho (‘kissing’ in a pool of water) or Curtis-monster (bleeding indestructible and ugly as hell!). Leon takes Curtis monster out with a slo-mo shot to the head and the building begins to seal itself to kill off and incinerate the virus. Meanwhile Claire is in the control room figuring out what’s going on and discovers the cameras were recording the whole incident. It turns out that Downing orchestrated the whole thing in order to destroy the G-Virus and sell the last remaining sample of the T-Virus and vaccine onto ‘General Grande’ – all the terrorist incidents were sales pitches for the viruses. Leon and Claire go their separate ways.
A company called Tricell salvage what is left of the Wilpharma building, locate a fragment of Curtis’ body and seal it in a biohazard container.
